Ai-RGUS has introduced Zenitel as its latest integration to monitor intercoms.
According to the company, the new update now allows users to monitor access control systems, network speakers, intercoms, routers, smart plugs, smart power supplies and POE devices from Zenitel.
It says that the new integration allows customers to go far beyond just liveness in the Ai-RGUS dashboard.
This reportedly provides AI image quality inspection, as well as routine checks to make sure an image is retrievable every hour.
“Monitoring intercoms among all of the other devices across your security system is an integral part of system
hardening,” said Daniel Reichman, Chief Scientist and CEO at Ai-RGUS.
“An intercom being down is not just a security hazard but it’s also a pain.
“The building may have to pay overtime rates to get someone there immediately because people can’t get into the building.
“For our customers who use Zenitel, this integration is a very helpful addition so that they don’t have to keep track of their intercoms separately.
“Now it’s included in the Ai-RGUS dashboard with everything else they manage: their cameras, NVR/DVRs, VMS, access control, network devices and much more.”
