Anviz has announced that more than 140 Anviz FaceDeep 3 devices have been installed in around 100 healthcare centers in Mexico to manage access control and protect patients’ assets and safety.

Facial recognition

Anviz highlights that FaceDeep 3 is an AI-based facial recognition solution equipped with Linux-based dual-core CPU and BioNANO deep learning algorithm.

The solution recognizes users within 2m in less than 0.3 seconds and customizes alerts; it includes a variety of reports, such as mask usage.

To monitor the attendance records of employees in different regions, Anviz says that medical center administrators use its CrossChex Cloud software, managed remotely via the cloud.

Biometrics

The AI-based live face detection technique makes the hospital admission process more accurate and fraud resistant by repelling different types of attack vectors, the company says.

The biometric solution has also reduced the waiting time of more than 1,000 doctors and nurses during peak hours at the main entrance doors of the healthcare center buildings.

Anviz says that this also helps to maintain the health of employees and patients, as the contactless facial recognition system reduces the risk of contagion and rejects unauthorized access.
