Athena Security has launched its newly created ‘Workforce Multiplier’ weapons detection system (WDS) with integrated AI X-ray scanning technology.

According to the company, the new AI X-ray scanning technology fully integrates into Athena’s WDS system and requires only one operator to manage both platforms.

Alerts from both the Athena WDS and the AI X-ray scanner are displayed on the operator’s tablet, providing a comprehensive view of potential threats.

The AI X-ray scanner automatically and precisely identifies guns and knives within bags – significantly reducing false alarms and minimizing the risk of human error.
