Automatic Systems, a manufacturer of pedestrian and vehicle entrance control access systems, has announced the expansion of its FirstLane speed gate, which will now be available in an outdoor model, in addition to its classic black-painted steel housing model.
According to the company, the FirstLane provides a modern design combining glass and various materials and finishes as well as interactive lighting for a more intuitive user experience. These newest models to its pedestrian portfolio feature a minimalist design which allows them to fit perfectly in environments where a medium level of security is required.
Automatic Systems says that the new FirstLane speed gate has retained all the original technical features but is now equipped with slimmer, more elegant LEDs to offer a more refined look while retaining reliability. The FirstLane Plus speed gate comes with aerodynamic obstacles that are designed to withstand outdoor conditions (IP44).
All models are now available with obstacles of different heights from 35 to 70 inches, helping to prevent fraud by physically blocking access to unauthorized individuals attempting to jump over the equipment. The FirstLane series provides a high bi-directional throughput without compromising users’ safety.
“Automatic Systems is very pleased to introduce these new FirstLane speed gates to market,” said David Enderle, Vice President of Sales for Automatic Systems. “We use top quality materials and state-of-the-art technology to ensure that the FirstLane speed gates are highly reliable and suitable for any architectural environment, from classic to modern and everything in between.”
Automatic Systems will be showcasing the FirstLane Plus outdoor model in Booth # 6071 at ISC West March 29th-31st, 2023.
