Axis Communications has launched its latest innovations including a lightweight body-worn camera and discreet video intercom with deep learning capabilities at GSX 2023, which took place in Dallas, TX.

According to Axis Communications, the AXIS W110 Body Worn Camera is a lighter, friendlier wearable camera specially designed to protect staff and reduce assaults in organizations in sectors like retail, healthcare and transportation.

The AXIS W110 Body Worn Camera also offers advanced image and audio quality with exceedingly sharp images and clear audio for forensic usability.

Activate body worn cameras in stressful situations

The AXIS W400 Body Worn Activation Kit automatically activates recording by all body-worn cameras in the same system when a lightbar or siren is activated, or a panic button is pressed.

Axis Communications says that AXIS W400 ensures that footage is always recorded by one or more cameras during an escalated situation thus keeping police departments in compliance with regulations and avoiding liability.

Network-based 60GHz radar for monitoring
