Camden Door Controls has announced the release of its newly designed CM-850 rocker switch, created for remotely releasing maglocks or door strikes.

The company says that the CM-850 Series switches are surface mount and ideal for under desk or wall mounting in reception areas.

This surface mount rocker switch can be used for unlocking a door for visitors or as a signaling device in a panic situation.

According to Camden, its form ‘C’ contacts can be easily field configurable for either momentary (default) or maintained operation.

The large actuator also provides positive feedback to the successful activation of the switch.

A neutral beige finish blends well with most typical office environments, Camden highlights.
