Commend Americas has revealed a new partnership with NESA Solutions and Hanwha Vision to advance virtual patient care within its Epic platform.
According to the company, a recent visit by NESA to Commend’s headquarters in Austria marked a pivotal moment, as the two announced an exclusive partnership to align in their commitment to provide the best possible audio solution for patient care.
The company says that amid a global nurse staff shortage crisis, the solution directly addresses critical industry pain points by enabling Epic’s native virtual care and providing unified communication for health systems.
Leveraging innovative virtual care workflows, including virtual sitting, nursing, rounding, consults, medication verification, behavioral health and discharge, the solution can alleviate the strain on healthcare professionals.
“The impact of our solution is already making positive strides in various health systems, addressing staffing challenges and improving overall efficiency,” said Commend in a statement.
“Commend, NESA and Hanwha forming an alliance for the healthcare industry is transformative.
“Each organization is a leader in their own domain, the combination of the three in this unified solution is exciting.”
Alongside building a Virtual Care Cart together, Commend says that it has empowered NESA with the capability to deliver precise audio functionality and enhanced patient safety.
The in-house development, testing and manufacturing at Commend further enables NESA to deliver quality and support for an extended period, while also ensuring the flexibility for further customization and adaptability in the future.
“As we move forward, our united front aims to reshape the healthcare landscape, offering an all-encompassing solution to address the industry’s most significant challenges,” the company commented.
“Consider the possibilities that unfold when health systems place their trust in unified communication platforms – the assurance is unwavering.
“This partnership not only addresses this consideration but also ignites a new era in healthcare communication technology, presenting a seamlessly integrated unified communication platform across the healthcare industry.”
