dormakaba has revealed that it has acquired TANIock, a German provider of high-security access solutions for data centers and other critical infrastructure.
According to the company, this acquisition strengthens dormakaba’s position in the data center markets by enhancing its offerings and driving further growth.
Founded in 2018 and based in Georgensgmรผnd, Germany, TANIock GmbH specializes in innovative high-security access solutions.
With a dedicated team of around 30 professionals, TANIock’s intelligent access control system enhances server cabinet security with electromechanical rack locks, various authentication modules and IP readers.
The company states that the system integrates seamlessly into existing IT infrastructures, making it ideal for both retrofits and new installations.
dormakaba says that TANIock offers a reliable and innovative solution for safeguarding critical infrastructure.
With the acquisition dormakaba states that it will enhance its data center offering by integrating complementary products and solutions.
It will leverage its sales network and global market reach, focusing on the US market while also strengthening existing channels to accelerate growth.
The company revealed that the parties have agreed not to disclose further details and the financial terms of the transaction.
The acquisition was closed on 1 July 2025.
