dormakaba has announced that it will participate in SwiftConnect Inc. (“SwiftConnect”) as a strategic investor.

According to the company, SwiftConnect’s platform ​​integrates identity and physical access into a streamlined and effortless experience, bringing​​​ ​systems and​​ spaces into its flexible connected access network.​​

SwiftConnect ​​automates traditionally manual workflows and​​ connects existing access systems, identity ​​providers​​ and IT systems to form an open​, unified​ network.

dormakaba said that companies can​ streamline and​ centrally manage​ the full​ mobile​ and physical credential lifecycle​, enabling secure, manufacturer-independent access to doors, floors and shared areas.

SwiftConnect was founded in 2020, is based in Connecticut (USA) and employs ​​1​​65​​ people.

The company, its platform​ and end-to-end custom integration solutions​ are an ideal complement to dormakaba’s global access solutions business, dormakaba added.
