Keynotes

GSX 2023 will officially kick-off on Monday 11 September with featured keynote speaker, Radosław “Radek” Sikorski, a senior statesman and acclaimed expert and speaker on geopolitics. In June 2019, he was elected as a member of the European Parliament. He is Chairman of the EU-US delegation for the Parliament. He is also a Member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET), the Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence in a Digital Age (AIDA) and the Subcommittee on Security and Defense (SEDE). Sikorski is the EPP’s spokesperson on China, the largest political grouping in the European Parliament.

On Tuesday 12 September, GSX 2023 will feature keynote presenter, America’s 43rd President, George W. Bush, sponsored by Altronix. President Bush will have a thoughtful conversation on stage with ASIS International’s President of the Global Board of Directors, Tim McCreight, to offer his perspective on today’s most pressing challenges and global security, drawing from his eight years in the White House, his response to the 9/11 attacks and working with world leaders. [Please note: This closed session is exclusive for GSX attendees, with no personal photography, notetaking, recording, filming, broadcasting, livestreaming or press access.]

On Wednesday 13 September, GSX 2023 celebrates the first-responder community via Military and Law Enforcement Appreciation Day honoring the individuals who make our communities and world a safer place. As a thank you for your service, all active duty and retired law enforcement, military and first responders receive a FREE One-Day Pass to GSX on Wednesday.

Wednesday’s keynote presenter is Tracy Walder, former CIA Officer and FBI Special Agent. She served as a covert operative for the CIA, helped uncover a Chinese spy ring with the FBI and traveled to warzones and black sites across the globe. Hear her views on the current geopolitical landscape, emerging threats in China and the Middle East and other timely hot-button topics. Walder will be sharing her incredible true story of working in special operations during the era of 9/11, including frequent meetings with President Bush, assuming aliases and hunting terrorists worldwide.
