Farpointe Data has announced the appointment of Brendon Allen as the company’s new Director of Engineering.

According to the company, Allen brings over 16 years of experience in engineering and security technology, promising to further advance Farpointe’s innovation and product development.

In his new role, Allen will oversee the development of cutting-edge ID solutions that meet the evolving needs of electronic access control system manufacturers and their customers.

Prior to joining the RFID reader and credential provider, Allen held key leadership roles at Alvarado, Stanley Security and Allegion, where he spearheaded numerous successful projects and contributed to significant technological advancements.

Allen’s business-oriented mindset and creative problem-solving ability is expected to bring a fresh perspective and drive to Farpointe’s engineering initiatives, the company highlights.
