Hexagon US Federal has announced the appointment of Chris Reichert to the organization’s Board of Directors.

Reichert has been appointed as the new Secretary of the Government Security Committee (GSC).

In his new role, Reichert will join Tammer Olibah, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Lieutenant General Michael D Maples, Barbara Stevens, the Chairman of the Proxy Board and Board of Directors and David R. Shedd, the Chairperson of the GSC.

Reichert’s previous employment

In January 2024, Reichert transitioned from serving as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to Chief Operating Officer (COO) where he supported the next evolutionary phase in the company’s go-to-market strategy and a complete restructuring of Hexagon US Federal’s lines of business.

Working with CEO and President, Tammer Olibah and Becky Harris, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Reichert will align program teams to better support a customer-first approach in delivering products, solutions and services.

Growth and organization

He is also responsible for rapidly growing the business that is now organized along four focus areas:

  1. Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) technologies
  2. Sensors and systems
  3. Software and data solutions
  4. Strategic services and solutions

“We will be better positioned”

Olibah, CEO, Hexagon commented: “Chris has been instrumental in our success and growth as an organization since joining in 2018.”

He added: “With his leadership as both COO and now Secretary of the GSC on the Board of Directors, I am confident we will be better positioned to meet the complex and ever-changing needs of our federal customers.”
