HID and Olea Kiosks have announced a new collaborative partnership that improves the user experience when it comes to access control and user authentication across a range of applications.

Theโ€ฏHID U.ARE.U Camera Identification Systemโ€ฏโ€“ featuring facial recognition technology (FRT) โ€“ can now be incorporated into the Olea HYPERMODULAR Kioskโ€ฏto address the rising demand for flexible, customizable ID authentication and verification across various vertical settings.โ€ฏ

The companies report that facial recognition technology continues to gain traction based on its combination of high security and user convenience.

Paired with the flexible Olea kiosk, HIDโ€™s artificial intelligence (AI)-powered U.ARE.U Camera Identification Systemโ€ฏis an ideal solution for applications needing to handle high throughput.โ€ฏ

Features of self-service access

Some of HID FRT features include on the spot verification to reduce waiting times, fraud prevention through the use of biometric traits and no human intervention as no staff are required to check IDs.

In addition to housing HIDโ€™s facial recognition camera, Oleaโ€™s kiosk design can also accommodate fingerprint scanners, barcode scanners, ticket and ID document readers, RFID readers, card printers and other HID offerings within its HYPERMODULARโ€ฏfootprint.
