i-PRO set to obtain ISO/IEC 42001 AI Certification

i-PRO has announced it is in the final stage of obtaining the ISO/IEC 42001 certification for its AI management systems.
Once completed, i-PRO says that this certification will make it the first company in the physical security industry to reach this level of ethical AI governance, reinforcing its commitment to transparency, accountability and security in AI deployment.
International compliance
Published in December 2023 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), ISO/IEC 42001 is the first international standard for AI management systems.
It sets best practices for the ethical development and use of AI systems, focusing on risk management, transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.
i-PRO highlights that it has been at the forefront of AI research and development for many years, delivering innovative camera hardware that utilizes edge AI technology in the security, public safety and medical fields.
As the company continues to expand its AI capabilities, compliance with global standards will give customers and partners added confidence in the integrity, safety and transparency of its technology.
