Ingram Micro Brazil has announced a new agreement to distribute Trellix’s security solutions. Trellix are a company based in the heart of Silicon Valley, California/USA and formed by Symphony Technology Group (STG), from the merger between McAfee Enterprise and FireEye.

The agreement’s main objectives are to amplify the message about Multi-Layer detection and Response (XDR) and its benefits in the current transformation journey, helping more companies get the most out of technology while preserving investments in other cybersecurity solutions and keeping their data secure.

Ingram Micro will distribute the entire portfolio of Trellix solutions in Brazil, with the aim of focusing on accelerating technological innovation through machine learning and automation. However, the biggest initial highlight will be the XDR platform, which allows you to automate operations and optimize resources from the integration of security solutions already existing in the customer environment.

Alexandre Nakano, Director of Networks and Cybersecurity at Ingram Micro, highlights the importance of the new partnership for the company’s portfolio: “Trellix is a pioneer in the XDR market and carries from FireEye a great expertise in integrating the most distinctive information security solutions of customers, uniting intelligence and automation in a single control point.

“Now, with the unification of the Portfolios of FireEye and McAfee Enterprise, which were already partners of Ingram Micro Brazil, we will significantly expand our performance in this market, bringing knowledge of both companies to protect the business of our customers. There are more than 650 native integrations to provide the automation needed to survive in an ecosystem as competitive and dynamic as the current one,” he said.

According to Nakano, companies currently face many security challenges, not only because of the increased attack surface, but because of the new hybrid and remote work environment that has the cloud as an important part of their infrastructure. “We are living in a threat scenario, which is not only growing in size, but also in sophistication and complexity. Within this context, Trellix’s XDR platform plays a prominent role. We have witnessed historical moments in cybersecurity and this is one of them.”

“As today’s organizations strive to achieve digital transformation, a strong security foundation is needed to ensure continued innovation, growth and resilience,” said Ryan Goss, Trellix’s Vice President of Sales for Latin America. “The partnership with Ingram Micro Brazil will be extremely strategic and will bring to customers throughout Brazil the information and solutions necessary to automate processes and pass through the changes from digital transformation safely, extracting the maximum from their investments already made and saving valuable resources”, he concludes.
