Invixium has announced that it has completed the Genetec API and SDK certification for version 5.13.1.0 of its Security Center, which is valid for two years.

According to Invixium, its software platform, IXM WEB 3.0, has been integrated for years with Genetec Security Center, a unified security platform that connects security systems, sensors and data in a single intuitive interface.

This deep integration enables Genetec users to add biometric authentication to their locations and manage all their data from one trusted platform.

“Elevates our partnership to a new level”

Thibaut Louvet, Senior Director, Professional Services, Genetec Inc. commented: “Invixium’s biometric solutions have seamlessly integrated with our Security Center platform for years, simplifying the architecture and enhancing the end user experience.

“This certification elevates our partnership to a new level, bringing increased value to our shared customers and partners and further strengthening our relationship with Invixium,” Louvet added.

“Reinforces our long-standing partnership”

Shiraz Kapadia, CEO and President, Invixium said: “This certification reinforces our long-standing partnership with Genetec.

“It reflects our commitment to Genetec’s installers, dealers and customers that this integration is certified, up-to-date and uncompromising.

“Together, we are delivering powerful, easy-to-deploy solutions built to meet the evolving demands of modern security.”

The integration

According to the company, the integration enables real-time synchronization of cardholder credentials, streamlining cardholder management and significantly reducing setup time.

For system integrators and installers, this means faster deployments, fewer configuration errors and simplified maintenance.

As an added benefit, the integration employs the RIO protocol for direct communication to the Synergis Cloud Link appliance, enabling Invixium biometric products to function as edge controllers at the door.

This integration also supports auto-face enrolment, which automatically registers users from their profile photos, saving time and reducing manual work.

It also allows the use of custom card formats, enabling organizations to keep their existing access cards without needing replacements, Invixium adds.

Additionally, custom field mapping for employee IDs ensures smooth integration with internal systems, improving accuracy and simplifying access management.
