IPVideo Corporation, a provider of physical security solutions, has announced the appointment of Sohaib Shaikh as its new Director of Engineering.
The company says that in his prior position, Shaikh served as Device Engineering Manager at Airgas where he led the company’s engineering and production teams in the development of next-generation telemetry devices.
Previously, Shaikh spent more than 12 years at Otis Elevator Company. Earlier on, he was part of GE Consumer & Industrial’s Edison Engineering Development Program in test and design engineer roles.

Shaikh holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Master of Business Administration.
In his new role as Director of Engineering, he will report to Frank Jacovino, IPVideo’s Vice President of Operations and Product Development.
