IriusRisk, the threat modelling company, has appointed Elise Hayes as its Strategic Alliance Director for North America. Hayes will be working to expand IriusRisk’s partner relationships in North America as the company capitalizes on high-demand in the market.

Hayes joins with nearly two decades of experience in sales, business development and strategic alliances in software companies. Prior to joining IriusRisk, she was the Strategic Alliance Director at Equifax, where she was responsible for driving and executing key partner solution strategies. Before that, she held business development and strategy roles at Softchoice, Rackspace and Lumen Technologies, where she also led and executed joint go-to-market strategies with partners.

The appointment of Hayes comes as IriusRisk experiences rapid, international growth. Over the past 12 months the IriusRisk team has doubled in size, with an increased presence across the US, UK and continental Europe and the number of global enterprises using the IriusRisk Threat Modeling platform has also more than doubled. Its partner base has grown even faster, quadrupling in 2021 as systems integrators identified the value in consulting services based around threat modeling and specifically the IriusRisk platform.

Hayes, Strategic Alliance Director commented on her appointment: “I am delighted to join IriusRisk, a company that is helping developers and security architects worldwide create applications that are secure by design. I am looking forward to building on IriusRisk’s success by expanding their reach in North America and supporting them in establishing strategic partnerships. This extremely prescient approach to security is the future of software development and I could not be happier to be part of the team at the forefront of this trend.”

Tom Smith, Senior Vice President and General Manager of North America commented: “We are delighted to bring Elise on board. Her experience in building strategic alliances with some of the largest systems integrators and advisory firms in the world will be invaluable to IriusRisk as we continue to aggressively pursue international expansion. The relationships Elise has in North America will help us double down on the success we have already experienced in the market and further our secure design mission through strategic partnerships.”
