Jason Riffer has been appointed as Director of the Executive Protection Portfolio at Fortis Security.

The company says the strategic hire underscores its dedication to peak performance and scalable growth within its global security operations.

“Riffer has an excellent operator mindset who will continue to raise the Fortis standard,” said Clayton Taylor, Chief Executive Officer of Fortis Security.

“The Fortis EP Portfolio has brought the company to new heights, and Riffer’s elite execution and process-driven approach will propel us even further”.

Fortis Security says Jason has a storied resume of leading fascinating protective operations in a variety of environments.

A rare leadership talent in our industry, Jason can navigate ambiguity and inspire teams to move into the grey to achieve world-class results confidently, the company adds.

His body of work in the security industry includes UHNW Family Protection, Tour Risk Management, Corporate Security Management as well as Insider Threat and Intellectual Property/Proprietary Information risk-mitigation operations on a global scale.

In this role, Jason will lead Fortis’ executive protection portfolio, including service delivery, strategic partnerships and operational performance.

He will work closely with the executive leadership team to foster portfolio alignment around a standardized approach, enhancing client outcomes and accelerating the company’s long-term growth strategy.

“Making a difference in keeping clients safe”

“Fortis has a clear vision and a great culture, and I’m excited to be part of it,” said Riffer.

“The way they balance rigorous discipline with a focus on people is what leads to such high levels of client satisfaction. We’re setting a standard that genuinely makes a difference in keeping clients safe.”

Before Jason joined Fortis Security, he provided strategic guidance and operational leadership to clients such as Facebook/Meta.

He also held roles at Mars Inc., Multinational Corporations and Family Offices. He is now looking to apply his transformational leadership style to the expansion of Fortis Security, the company added.
