Shiraz Kapadia, CEO & President of Invixium divulges the moments that have defined his company.

What has contributed to Invixium’s success?

When we came into the industry, we were committed to moving away from the features and data sheet wars, placing significant focus on design, not just from a product perspective, but also from a UI/UX perspective for our software solutions.

We take aesthetics into account.

Another defining moment for us was deciding to build a biometric product without a “one-size-fits-all” mindset.

Instead, we have focused on developing solutions for specific verticals like airports, higher education, data centers, mining and manufacturing, which means they work perfectly in those environments.

Lastly, one of the key focuses of Invixium is that our products are manufactured in Canada, meaning we can comply with the various legislations that are going to become highly prevalent as geopolitical tensions increase.

What makes Invixium stand out in the market?

The fast-paced innovation and execution at which the Invixium team works to solve real-life challenges is the best in the industry.

Our solutions are built to last and are made with high-quality materials that can work in harsh and rugged environments like oil and gas refineries, petrochemical facilities and construction sites where traditional biometrics haven’t been effective.

We have focused on design, quality, durability, simplicity and solving challenges – that’s what makes us stand out.

Invixium approaches its customers and says, “Don’t ask us for the product. Tell us what your problem is.”

From there, we provide them with a solution that helps them to be more secure and efficient.

What are your plans for the Americas?

North and South America are very unforgiving markets – you need to be proven to be successful in the Americas.

We launched our company in 2013 in the Middle East.

This region generally is much quicker to adopt new technology and is more willing to take risks.

After this, we entered the North American market in 2016 because we then had success stories to tell.

Due to the number of people working from home in 2021 and 2022, the growth trajectory of our market in the North American region experienced a slowdown.

However, in 2023 we have observed a significant uptick in inquiries about our solutions and have found lots of success.

We want to be the most prevalent biometric solutions company in North America.

As North and South America have the highest share of the physical access control market globally, we plan on growing here and welcome new opportunities with open arms.

You’re heading to ISC West in April – can you tell me what attendees can expect from Invixium there?

At ISC West, we’ll be showcasing our best-in-class, problem-solving solutions, which primarily include IXM TITAN – the most advanced face recognition solution available in the market today and IXM TFACE – a highly versatile and slim dual-biometric device.

Alongside our biometric products, we will present our enterprise-grade, highly secure software solutions for workforce management and access control, the newly launched visitor management with feature-rich enhancements, and finally, our LINK API.

This API seamlessly integrates our solutions with access control software from top brands like LenelS2, Genetec, Gallagher Security, Nedap, acre security, Tyco, Honeywell, Siemens, IDCUBE and more.

I’m very excited for people to be able to find out more about our offerings at ISC West.
