Liberty Defense appoints James Byrne to its advisory board

Liberty Defense Holdings (Liberty)ย has appointed James Byrne as a new member of its new Advisory Board.
The board is set to have nine members, with the purpose of focusing and guiding Liberty Defense on its journey to scale its technology in the US and worldwide.
James Byrne
Byrne currently serves as the Vice President, Ethics and Business Conduct for Lockheed Martin.
He is a retired United States Marine Corps Infantry Officer and Federal Prosecutor, who also served as Deputy Secretary and General Counsel of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
Byrne has served as a Director and Advisor to several startup companies and on the US Department of Homeland Security Data Privacy & Integrity Advisory Committee.ย
“A societal need”
The new Advisory Board Member commented on his new appointment: โAs domestic and international threats continue to evolve, Libertyโs technology is needed now more than ever.
“Iโm excited to join the Strategic Advisory Board as the company develops next generation technology with the support of major establishments like MIT, Pacific Northwest National Labs and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
