Liberty Defense selects distribution partner for aviation sector

Provider of AI-based detection solutions for concealed weapons and threats, Liberty Defense, has entered into a strategic non-exclusive distribution agreement with Maryland-based K2 Security Screening Group.

According to Liberty Defense, the new agreement will enable its HEXWAVE walkthrough people screening system to be introduced into US airports.
Liberty Defense says that K2 is a leading organization in the planning, management, installation and integration of airport passenger and checked baggage security screening systems.
It has successfully completed projects at 92% of Transportation Security Administration (TSA)-regulated airports in the US.
As part of the distribution agreement, K2 will add HEXWAVE, which uses AI and machine learning to seamlessly detect weapons and other threats in real-time, to its security services portfolio.
