Silicon Valley-based Niagara Networks has announced a new agreement to distribute in India. The former division of Interface Masters provides software for an advanced Visibility Adaptation Layer at all data rates up to 100Gb.

Its Open Visibility Platform, serves as a ‘single pane of glass’ to ease configuration and provisioning of the visibility infrastructure. It enables systems to combine advanced packet brokers, bypass switches, network TAPs and a unified management and orchestration software.

The new distribution agreement is with Inflow Technologies, an authorized professional services provider for top-tier cybersecurity solutions across India.

In a statement this week Niagara Networks said: “India is a growing market for technology products since there is large user base segment which needs updated solutions.

“Security is paramount for all businesses hence this synergy works for such new product entries. Niagara Networks offers a broad range of network visibility solutions that maximize pervasiveness and cost-effectiveness in monitoring, managing, and securing network resources.”

Karan Bhatla, Niagara’s Regional Sales Manager, SAARC region said: “We are delighted to collaborate with Inflow Technologies, one of the top IT distributors in the region.

“We are entering into this partnership with a shared vision to help the customers achieve packet-level visibility with the help of Niagara’s top-of-the-line products, which will in-turn assist in achieving enhanced cybersecurity.”

Networks offers a broad range of network visibility solutions that maximize pervasiveness and cost-effectiveness in monitoring, managing, and securing network resources.

Niagara Networks’ platform combines networking and security in a single, simple technology. Niagara says: “It’s an issue for security, and it’s an issue for networking. Why do we treat networking and security as two very different things? They have different goals, but they are also inexorably connected and related to the same thing.

“The ‘Network’ needs an easy way to add/remove/manage security and network solutions, while looking at availability, throughput, OPEX, and flexibility in addressing growing network needs – more traffic, more tools and more customers.”
