OSI Systems has announced that its security division has been awarded a $16 million contract by an international airport to enhance its checkpoint security infrastructure.

According to the company, this airport security checkpoint lane upgrade includes supplying advanced 920CT screening systems integrated with automated tray return systems (TRS) lanes to streamline security operations.

As part of this award, the company is also expected to provide multi-year maintenance, service and support.

“Adding our TRS lanes is expected to enhance throughput further, providing a smoother and more efficient passenger screening process.”
