Prosegur Security has inaugurated its intelligent security operations center (iSOC) in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

With an investment of over $2.5 million, the company says that this modern and innovative operations center, with capacity for 200 monitoring stations, is equipped with an interconnected network of state-of-the-art devices that provide a wealth of real-time data.

According to the company, among the services offered by the iSOC are warning signal management, active image monitoring, remote access management for vehicles and personnel, and compliance review of regulations and operational parameters specific to each client.

Furthermore, the security operations center expands remote capabilities to address technical incidents and is configured as the center for data collection and operational analysis, generating initiatives to improve security services.

“The iSOC is the first location in Argentina to integrate innovative technologies, intelligent data processing and advanced security services,” said Eduardo Miyares, General Manager of Prosegur Security in Argentina. 

“This center responds to a new security model defined by the company, aligned with evolving reality: hybrid security.

“Furthermore, it marks a milestone in corporate security management, allowing us to provide customized solutions tailored to the specific needs of each client and sector.

“Thanks to this technology, we can anticipate threats and optimize operational efficiency.”

Miyares also highlighted that Prosegur Security monitors more than 5,000 centers from the iSOC, serving more than 600 clients from diverse sectors such as banking, industry, retail, logistics, mining and oil & gas, among others.

Additionally, it conducts 10,000 virtual patrols within companies monthly, has 15,000 connected cameras, and manages more than 350,000 alarms and GPS signals.

This security operations center also focuses on monitoring more than 3,000 business processes. 

“Our iSOC is scalable and will allow us to grow our business volume by 20% to 30% annually, doubling the technology services we offer in five years,” Miyares added.
