Retail is another growth area for Qognify in the region, with the company leveraging its multi-year experience in working with large national and multi-national retailers around the world.
Shana Thomas has a proven record of connecting organizations in the retail sector with solutions that meet operational and technology needs. She explains: “Retail has been facing extreme security challenges, such as the rise in organized retail crime in recent years. Qognify’s approach to tackle these issues is a real game-changer for this industry and I look forward to communicating that message with retailers throughout the Americas.”
Qognify‘s game-changing approach, Business Video Intelligence (BVI), enables for example footage from the video management system to be combined with transaction data from various IT systems. Thus, it provides timely and actionable insights that improve the way suspicious incidents are managed. It also helps to identify trends that can be used in the prosecution of crime and to transform processes that improve safety, security and more.
Shana joins Qognify following a ten-year tenure at the multi-site facilities management network ConnexFM, where she held the position Vice President Marketing, Communications & Digital Experience. Commenting on her reasons for joining Qognify she states: “In this day and age, security is paramount and being a part of a company that is ensuring and safeguarding our most basic need for safety is something I take to heart and am really proud to be a part of.”
Vice President of Marketing at Qognify, Andreas Conrad comments: “Shana has the knowledge, expertise and opportunity to engage our partners and customers at an exciting time for the company, following the recent launch of Qognify VMS and the high demand for our EIM solutions. Her experience is invaluable as we drive to expand our sales and marketing initiatives in the Americas to address the growing need for true enterprise-class physical security solutions.”
