Quanergy reveals new LiDAR perimeter security solutions

Quanergy Solutions has introduced its latest solutions: the Q-Track HD, Q-Track Dome and new Q-Track 2.4 software release.

According to the company, these new products complement the existing Q-Track LR, further extending its portfolio to offer a comprehensive suite of LiDAR-based security and smart space solutions.

Q-Track HD

Quanergy says that the Q-Track HD offers high-density sensing with an 80-meter diameter range, a full 360-degree horizontal field of view (FOV) and a 70-degree vertical FOV.

Designed for large-scale security applications, perimeter protection and high-traffic monitoring, this next-generation LiDAR delivers 3D mapping for advanced intrusion detection, unauthorized access monitoring and optimized crowd flow management.

Q-Track Dome

For environments requiring full situational awareness, the Q-Track Dome delivers high-density LiDAR coverage with a 40-meter diameter range, a 360-degree horizontal FOV and a 90-degree vertical FOV, ensuring zero blind spots, the company reports.

Optimized for data centers, critical infrastructure, transportation hubs, shopping centers and other high-security environments, the Q-Track Dome is particularly effective for tailgating prevention and mantrap applications.

It ensures that only authorized personnel gain access while preventing unauthorized entry attempts.

Intelligent LiDAR data processing

Accompanying these LiDAR solutions is Q-Track 2.4, the latest major software release from Quanergy that enhances security and smart space analytics with AI-driven insights.
