Resideo Technologies, Inc., a provider of solutions for home comfort, security and safety, has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Teknique, a supplier of edge-based, AI-enabled video camera development and solutions.

Founded in 2004 and based in Auckland, New Zealand Teknique’s platform enables computer vision solutions and edge AI for leading global brands and Fortune 500 companies across a range of industries.

“Resideo is focused on creating products that turn data into innovative solutions and the Oclea by Teknique platform will help lead the company into new applications with next-generation video and sensor technology,” said Scott Ziffra Senior Vice President, Engineering & Product Management at Resideo.
