Metrasens has revealed that the Fort Worth Independent School District (FWISD) in Texas has chosen the company’s weapons detection solution to help bolster safety measures for graduation ceremonies and extracurricular events.

Serving nearly 75,000 students across 140 schools, FWISD conducted a meticulous internal assessment of various technologies, ultimately selecting Metrasens as its preferred solution.

FWISD deployed six Metrasens Ultra weapons detection systems during its 2024 graduation ceremonies.
