The Security Innovation Hub has announced that it is hosting the Security Professional’s Day in Illinois.
According to the organization, Security Professional’s Day is an initiative designed to empower and inspire the people who make the security industry stronger every day.
Security Professional’s Day will take place on 18 September and will be a day-long immersion in security experiences with an exclusive workshop.
Agenda for the day
The Security Innovation Hub highlights that the day will include:
- Ribbon cutting: Kicking off the day, the Security Innovation Hub will officially open for security insights, connections, co-working and innovation
- Lunch: There will be a lunch and chance to network with peers. Hear from a former US Marine turned business owner on how to “own your struggle” and network with local officials
- Second City workshop: From the globally renowned Second City team comes a high-energy, communications and crisis management course. This is an interactive, hands-on workshop promising to unlock skills in communication, confidence and leadership. This has been used in FBI Hostage Negotiation Training and the University of Chicago Crime Lab
- Live technology demos: Get up close with the latest in security innovation. From AI-powered systems to rapid response solutions, discover the tools shaping tomorrow’s security
- Networking & Happy Hour presented with the Security Industry Association: End the day connecting with peers, partners and industry leaders at the “SIA There!” happy hour
