The Scout AI Tower from Skylark Labs was deployed at the Indianapolis 500 Parade to provide security coverage.
According to the company, this deployment showcases the Scout Tower’s capability to monitor large-scale public events and provide real-time threat detection across expansive venues.
The Scout Tower works using Skylark’s adaptive AI technology, which addresses critical security challenges at major public events by providing security teams with real-time situational awareness, crowd behavior analysis and early threat detection capabilities.
Skylark Labs says that the Scout Tower processed visual data from multiple high-resolution cameras, utilizing advanced edge computing to identify crowd anomalies, suspicious behaviors and potential security threats in real-time.

The AI engine generated continuous Event Security Scores that reflected real-time risk assessments based on crowd density, movement patterns and behavioral analysis.
The company highlights that these scores enabled security teams to proactively respond to developing situations and deploy resources effectively across the expansive event areas.
