Verkada has announced that it has secured an additional $100 million in capital for its Series D fundraise.
The company says that this funding was led by Alkeon Capital, with additional investment from Lightspeed Venture Partners and others, bringing the total capital raised in the round to $305 million.
This capital will support the company’s expansion plans as it continues to enhance its current offering and develop new products and features with a growing global team.
“Being approached by investors Alkeon and Lightspeed to join our Series D is further validation that our now 20,000 customers love what we’re building,” the company said in a statement.
“Whether it’s enabling retailers like Canada Goose to reduce operational inefficiencies or schools like Durham College to establish dynamic emergency response plans, Verkada‘s integrated platform is more important and needed than ever.”
