Video Management Servers has revealed the appointment of Emma Harris as ambassador for its specialist CCTV and analytics servers.
This includes the companies unique, sustainable MOSS, Managed On Site Server and subscription series.
According to the company, Harris brings extensive CCTV and security industry experience, from roles including Director of Technology and Transformation at Mitie and Account Management and Project Management positions in Vision Security Group, Swift Fire and Security, and Kings Security.
Harris stated: “Video Management Servers Co. offers affordable, value-engineered servers specifically designed for video management and AI-driven analytics, a rapidly expanding field in security, site and process management.
“Customers can purchase servers directly, however, I’m especially interested in the MOSS subscription option.
“With MOSS, VMS Co owns, manages, maintains and warranties the servers on-site, for up to 7 years, with next-business-day, field engineer support,” she continued.
“This model appeals to integrators seeking recurring revenues; it is typically funded from an operational expenditure budget and is environmentally sustainable by re-using reliable ICT boards and components. This reduces carbon emissions far beyond those that recycling alone can achieve.
Harris concluded: “As the government works to establish a carbon offset policy for reusing ICT equipment, MOSS supports integrators in pursuing sustainability and reducing carbon emissions.”
