Wavestore has announced the launch of Wavestore 6.38, the latest edition of its video management software (VMS).
According to the company, this update introduces a host of new features designed to enhance security, streamline installation and maintenance, and elevate daily operations for consultants, integrators and system users.
Wavestore says that the latest version of its video management software brings crucial security enhancements, including TLS support and kernel upgrades, ensuring that the platform meets the latest security standards and protects sensitive data against potential vulnerabilities.
This gives security consultants the confidence needed when advising on security infrastructure.
Integrators will appreciate the improvements in network stability and speed, which lead to fewer interruptions during installation and smoother operation under heavy loads, the company says.
The new version also supports Active Directory for simplified user authentication and management, reducing administrative overhead and potential errors.
System users will find their daily operations significantly enhanced, Wavestore adds.
The ability to easily upload and configure maps, that can be overlayed with camera locations and action icons improves situational awareness and operational efficiency.
Audio enhancements ensure clearer and more reliable communication, critical for real-time interaction and effective incident response.
The update also implements various usability and UI enhancements, providing a smoother and more reliable experience.
Wavestore 6.38 is now ONVIF conformant for Profile S, ensuring basic interoperability and compatibility with a wide range of IP-based video products.
This certification means that the video management software can seamlessly integrate with various devices, enhancing the flexibility and robustness of surveillance systems.
“Wavestore 6.38 is a testament to our commitment to continuous improvement,” said Mark Claxton, Managing Director at Wavestore.
“We are dedicated to listening to our customers’ feedback and addressing their unique needs.
“This update is just one step in our ongoing journey to provide solutions that scale and restore productivity by bridging the gap between technology and those that use it.”
