Vistacom Inc., a leading provider of audiovisual, communications and control room solutions, announced today its national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE).
The certification is issued by the Women’s Business Enterprise Center – East, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
“After meeting the WBENC’s rigorous criteria, I’m beyond thrilled that Vistacom is now formally recognized as a Women-Owned Business Enterprise, and I appreciate the opportunity to highlight the importance of diversity, especially within leadership,” says Angela Nolan, CEO of Vistacom Inc.
The WBENC is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the United States. The standard of certification is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection.
The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by a woman or women.
“We know that our customers are looking for—and in many cases, requiring—much more than a provider of technology solutions,” says Nolan.
“They need an integrator that they can trust and that aligns with their values of diversity and inclusion, and on behalf of the entire Vistacom family, we’re excited to work with clients and partners who can not only benefit from our certification, but also grow business—together.
”Corporations and government agencies of all sizes are embracing a significant commitment to developing supplier diversity.”
Jim Ferlino, President of Vistacom Inc. said: “As a certified women-owned business, Vistacom is proud to add diversity to the supply chain of our clients and business partners.
“We look forward to helping companies demonstrate their dedication to fostering diversity in all aspects of business, and most importantly, co-participating in creating a far more representative world—particularly in the technology industry.”
