Tim Wenzel has joined Kroll’s Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM) practice as an Associate Managing Director.

Wenzel brings industry-leading expertise in ESRM, protective strategy and root cause analysis to the firm. His experience solving complex, niche problems and his history of leading crisis response for incidents gives him a unique perspective and voice in the security industry.

“A trusted partner”

“I’m excited and honored to join the team at Kroll. The company has an excellent reputation in the industry of being a trusted partner and always client-first while having the ability to solve interesting, sometimes difficult-to-define problems,” said Wenzel.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Tim Wenzel was most recently the Head of Global Security Protective Intelligence, Technical Countermeasures at Meta (Facebook). In 2022, IFSEC International named him a Global Influencer and Thought Leader in the security industry due to his work in ESRM, leadership, team development and the ‘Leading with Kindness’ philosophy.

The Kindness Games

In 2020, Wenzel co-founded The Kindness Games, which became a global movement attracting participants from every continent except Antarctica. This established him as a sought-after speaker and thought leader in the security, leadership and wellness industries.

“I create joyful environments in which teams can create, experiment and thrive. Security is a people business and my purpose in this world is to help people and organizations understand how leadership, risk management and kindness impact their spheres of influence,” said Tim Wenzel.

“This gives them the power to create amazing relationships, unite and heal communities and ultimately, change the world by leading with kindness. I think these values align with Kroll’s values as well and I’m excited to begin this chapter of my journey.”
