3xLOGIC has announced that it will be exhibiting various hardware, software and cloud-based solutions at the GSX conference, taking place 11 – 13 September 2023 in Dallas.

Edge-based analytics

The company says that taking center stage will be its new X-Series Edge Based Deep Learning Analytics cameras.

These cameras continuously analyze movements and behaviors and use predictive analysis to track each subject constantly.

People, objects and vehicle events can be filtered so that only important activations are acted upon.

Cloud-based solution

In addition, 3xLOGIC’s VIGIL CLOUD Video Management System (VMS) will be on show, highlighting the new product features of its cloud-based solution.

According to 3xLOGIC, this ecosystem delivers a holistic view of an entire secured premise and the company has further expanded its functionality with the implementation of edge-based deep learning analytics.

Person and vehicle detection capabilities have been integrated to refine the analytics of the motion zone to only alert when a person or vehicle is present, greatly reducing the number of notifications and false alarms.

VIGIL CLOUD includes multi-camera, multi-view functionality, in which users can select up to six cameras to view live feeds simultaneously with the option of viewing multiple locations as well, 3xLOGIC says.

It is also now possible to manage and share cases externally with co-operating agencies including law enforcement.

Server software

3xLOGIC will also showcase the features and functionality found in its VIGIL VMS with the introduction of VIGIL 12.5.

Alongside the traditional Windows based option, VIGIL 12.5 Linux OS provides a lower cost solution and is based on the Linux Debian 11 OS.

3xLOGIC says that VIGIL 12.5 offers full remote server settings via the new platform agnostic VIGIL Server Management Utility (VSMU) and VIGIL Client.

Also included are enhanced pan tilt zoom (PTZ) controls that allow a user to focus on an object or individual by simply drawing a box around it, as well as ONVIF-M support for analytics metadata.

Network video recorders (NVRs)

Visitors to GSX will also have the chance to see 3xLOGIC’s new NVR-1U-8CH

Powered by the VIGIL 12.5 video management system, the NVR-1U-8CH is a Linux OS based embedded power over Ethernet (PoE) 1U professional grade NVR.

It has an Intel Celeron processor, which provides superior performance and with 64MP resolution support, users can also experience high definition video.

3xLOGIX says that its large 256GB solid state drive (SSD) provides effortless working and it can deliver PoE+ up to 30W for each of its eight channels, enabling full PTZ control. It also has 4-18TB HDD options.

A remote management feature also allows a user to be in control from anywhere with internet access – saving time and making operations more efficient.

“We have had a very busy and productive 12 months developing our newest products, which are a result of talking and listening to our customers,” said President of 3xlOGIC, Brad McMullen.

“We are particularly excited to showcase our latest innovations at GSX and look forward the opportunity to engage with our current and prospective clients at the show.”
